Story
It started the way most good ideas do. A few buddies went hunting in Mexico and came home wondering why the heck more people were not doing it.
In your face, high-volume shooting, warm weather, great food… and margaritas. So Paul started bringing more people with him down south and somewhere along the way, the SOBs became a business.
SOB Outdoors is a proud Veteran owned and operated business.
Who Runs This Thing?
Meet Paul, Quatro, Poncho, Lalo, Juan, Libo, Mike and Mike.
These are the SOBs you will hunt with, eat with, ride around with, and probably share a drink with before the trip is over.

Paul “Pablo”
Head Honcho
Paul found hunting in Mexico, through Jason, years ago and started bringing friends along.
He is the voice on the phone, the guy sorting out the trip, the guy at the trade shows and for much of the season, one of the SOBs sitting at the table with you.
LALO “Rico Suave”
North Duck/Dove Guru
There’s a reason they call him Rico Suave.
Lalo is the smooth operator behind the scenes on the North side, putting in the legwork to find the birds, follow their movement, and work out exactly where hunters need to be.
By the time your group heads out, he’s done his homework and has you set up for success.
Libo
host & Transportation Specialist
Like Poncho everybody loves Libo. He has that uncanny ability to know what you need before you do, he is the glue that brings everyone together at the Lodge and on the road.
Jason “Quatro”
Chief Hunting Buddy
Every operation needs a guy whose job description is basically “comes hunting.” That is Quatro.
Jason is Paul’s longtime hunting buddy and a regular part of the Mexico crew. His main responsibilities include hunting, helping out, and making sure Paul does not have all the fun. Ask Quatro about hunting with a former president.
Poncho
LODGE OWNER/OPERATOR
Everyone loves Poncho.
Come on down and you’ll see why.
He owns and runs Lomo del Rio Lodge, seems to know what everyone needs before they ask for it, and somehow keeps a house full of hungry hunters fed, watered and pointed in the right direction.
Juan "Juan Shot, Juan Kill"
South Duck Magnet
Juan spends countless hours in the fields on the South side monitoring feeding patterns to make your hunt a success.
His motto is “Juan shot, Juan kill” and he will get you in position to make it happen.

Indiana Mike
The Turkey Whisperer
Mike the Turkey Whisperer is a turkey hunting legend. He has one of those annoying abilities to look at a patch of woods, listen for a minute and seem to know what a turkey is going to do next.
He knows when to call and when to move. We are not entirely sure what he says to the turkeys, but it seems to work.
Georgia Mike
MAGIC MIKE
Magic Mike knows when to sit tight, when to make a move, and how to work a stubborn Gould’s into range. He’s patient, sharp, and pretty good at knowing when it’s time to put on a show.
They don’t call him Magic Mike for nothing.
